Mystery stranger saves Las Vegas family from house fire

A Las Vegas family is searching for an unidentified man who they credit with saving their lives during a predawn house fire on July 5. Homeowner Danna Shabtai recounted waking to frantic pounding on her front door and doorbell ringing, prompted by her dog's barking. Upon opening the door, she was met by a stranger yelling, "Fire! Fire!" He directed her attention to the backyard, where she saw a wall of flames engulfing the French doors.

As Shabtai's sister grabbed a garden hose to combat the fire, Shabtai quickly scooped up her 14-month-old son and ran to alert neighbors.
